Alkaline Diet Recipe: Avocado With Hemp Seeds

 

 

Last time, we talked about how you can turn your body into a fat burning machine! The secret is all about balancing the right fats in your diet and getting enough of the good ones.

So today, I’ve got a great recipe to help you do just that. It’s got two awesome fat sources – avocados and hemp seeds – and together, along with the other ingredients, they team up to make a nutritious, delicious snack or lunch.

Combine this with a simple salad and you’ve got a tasty meal your waistline will thank you for.

AVOCADO WITH HEMP SEEDS

INGREDIENTS [Serves 2]

1 organic Haas avocado

6 tbsp. hemp seeds 
(Separated in half)

Lemon or lime, freshly juiced 
(both yummy, but I prefer lime)

Sea salt
 (Celtic Grey, Himalayan, or Redmond Real Salt)

Black pepper to taste

Optional: 1tsp. jalapeno, minced

DIRECTIONS

Wash and cut avocado in half. Remove the seed. Squeeze lemon or lime juice on top of each half. Then take 3 tbsp. of the hemp seeds and put it inside the cavity where the pit was. Repeat with other half. Another squeeze of lemon or lime. Season with sea salt and pepper. Optional – top with minced jalapeno for a kick!
