Recipe: Chocolate Frosty

This Dr. Daryl-approved chocolate frosty will give Wendy a run for her money! It’s so good that you could put it in a Wendy’s frosty cup, and your kids may not know the difference! Getting off your sugar can still be sweet, comforting, delectable…and super healthy!

Cacao powder is often called the Ultimate Superfood! It is one of the highest sources of magnesium in nature and is super full of antioxidants, calcium, zinc, copper, and selenium. It is so full of antioxidants that it contains more than popular go-to's such as blueberries, goji berries, and pomegranates. So go on and be a superhero…by drinking a chocolate frosty!

Ingredients:

  • 3⁄4 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk from a carton
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1⁄2 banana, frozen
  • A handful of ice cubes

Directions:

Combine all the ingredients, except the ice, in a blender and blend well. Then, add the ice cubes and pulse until the ice is blended, giving you a nice, thick texture. That’s it!

Want to feel strong and built like a superhero? Mix in a scoop of Acid-Kicking Plant-Based Chocolate Protein! Enjoy an extra-chocolatey frosty while giving your body 3 core alkaline proteins and coconut oil that are free from all the evil acidic and artificial ingredients in most protein powders. Kick acid and be a hero of good health!
