Dessert Sushi

While Valentine’s Day has come and go, it doesn’t mean you still can’t make something special for your sweetheart 😊!

Today I’ve got one of my favorite recipes to share with your valentine, or a special friend or loved one. Whether it’s a romantic meal, or a fun after-school activity with the kids, this alkaline dessert is the perfect way to show you care.

There’s no better way to show your love to the people you care about most than serving them food that is going to bring them greater health, instead of more illness, acid, inflammation, and weight gain.

By the way, be sure to watch your inbox because on Thursday, I’ll be coming at you with a full day’s menu to share with that special someone.

So give this dessert a try and let me know what you think over on Facebook.

DESSERT SUSHI

Ingredients [Serves 2]

1 banana
2 tbsp. raw almond butter
1/2 tbsp. chia seeds
2 tbsp. cacao nibs

Ingredients: “Soy Sauce”

1 tsp. coconut oil, melted
2 tsp. cacao powder
1 tsp. vanilla (or 2 drops Medicine Flower Vanilla)
1/2 tsp. organic stevia (or low glycemic Liquid Coconut Nectar by Coconut Secrets)

Directions

Peel banana and cut off the ends. Spread the almond butter on top of the banana. Sprinkle the top with chia seeds and cacao nibs. Slice into “sushi” pieces. Set aside.

In a small bowl, mix melted coconut oil, cacao powder, vanilla, and stevia until well combined. Serve “sushi” with “soy sauce.”
