Aviva Drescher Discusses Potential Return To 'The Real Housewives of New York City'

Could Aviva Drescher be considering a return to The Real Housewives of New York City? During a recent event, she spoke of the possibility.

According to a new report, Drescher would be open to the idea of coming back to the show but at the same time, she isn't so sure that her current lifestyle would be juicy enough for the cameras of Bravo TV.

“If they needed somebody and I worked in the mix, I would go back,” she told Page Six during the book launch party for Dr. Daryl Gioffre's “Get Off Your Acid.”

As Drescher explained to the outlet, she believes that the cast members of The Real Housewives of New York City are some of the strongest ladies around because they allow Bravo TV to showcase their real lives and are forced to deal with the criticism of viewers. According to Drescher, being a reality star on Bravo TV is truly admirable and requires thick skin.

That said, while her former co-stars are known to have busy social lives, Drescher and her husband Reid have taken on a much more low-key life in recent years as they continue to raise their four children. In fact, Drescher said flat-out that she is "really boring" and is typically in bed by 8 p.m.

As for her communication with her former co-stars, including friend Jill Zarin, Drescher said she's been in touch with a number of her ex-castmates and loves all of the women she once starred alongside. She also noted that the women of the show are "super sweet" and working hard on all that they do.

Drescher went on to recall her first moments on The Real Housewives of New York City, explaining that she was quite afraid of Ramona Singer when she first began filming the hit series. Then, after starring alongside Singer for two seasons, she found her to be one of the nicest people she's ever met.

Drescher began starring on The Real Housewives of New York City during its fifth season after Jill Zarin, Cindy Barshop, Alex McCord, and Kelly Bensimon were booted from the show. She was then removed from the series' lineup after the season six finale saw her ripping off her prosthetic leg during a showdown with her co-stars.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 10 begins airing on April 4 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
