Watercress Grapefruit Salad

Take a seat, King Kale. Watercress received 100 out of 100 points on the nutrition powerhouse list—kale only scored 49%. This summer, power up with a crisp and refreshing salad that will certainly become your signature dish at any backyard party.

It’s also time to give low-sugar, high-mineral grapefruit the spotlight and shatter a myth. While some citrus is acidic, the citric acid in grapefruit is actually alkaline once consumed. Therefore, this sunny season (and all year round), supercharge your health and delight your taste buds with my watercress grapefruit salad.
