In my new book, GET OFF YOUR ACID, I call this smoothie the Chunky Monkey, but the truth is, it will help you if you’re trying to become a not-so-chunky monkey!
Like we talked about in my last post with my ideal alkaline shopping list, there are certain staple foods that you always want to have around in your alkaline kitchen, so that you can whip up a healthy smoothie like this in no time!
This smoothie is full of the right fats like seeds, or coconut milk, and almond butter.
In fact, you could eat this each and every day, feel like you’re having a guilty pleasure, and actually lose weight in the process!
In case you’re wondering, despite all its health benefits, this is a kid pleaser—they love everything about it from the name to the taste. It even sneaks in kale, one of the planet’s most powerful super foods because it is high in essential minerals.
Give it a try and let me know what you think over on Facebook.
