Fall Fruit Salad Recipe by Dr. Daryl

Today’s recipe is super simple and super delicious. It’s a fruit salad that brings together the best fruits the fall has to offer – persimmon, pomegranate, pear, and lemon juice.

You could take this to a fall gathering, eat it for dessert, or make it for lunch along with a green salad. Once you taste this combination, you’ll be thinking of more opportunities to make it.

If you’re not familiar with persimmon, you should be! Persimmons are usually available at this time of year and their looks might have you mistake them for oranges, but they taste very different.

They have a mild, honey-like flavor. If you can’t find persimmons at your grocery store or farmers’ market, feel free to substitute with your favorite fruit.

The fruit is topped with mint leaves and coconut butter, to increase its alkalinity and make it tastier too.
