Spinach & Strawberry Salad With Basil Dressing Recipe

Did you know that added stress is bad for the strength of your immune system and ability to fight off diseases?

That might sound like a tough pill to swallow, but consider this… The food you eat not only can boost your immune system, but it can also fight stress! Find out 14 other easy ways to fight stress in my blog post on Thursday.

So the answer lies in eating foods rich in stress-fighting antioxidants and healthy fats. This delicious salad has both, including farm-fresh, seasonal ingredients you probably can’t get enough of right now.

This salad is versatile too. Toss in other veggies you’ve got in your fridge, substitute chickpeas for the white beans or another nut for the pine nuts, or use another fresh herb out of your garden instead of basil.

Give it a try and let me know what you think over Facebook.

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp. basil, chopped
