Nothing more romantic than a creamy, decadent, and divine chocolate mousse dessert. Actually, I do know something more romantic—a delicious dessert that leaves your body feeling really amazing instead of bloated, sluggish, and gross. Because no one wants those feelings on Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients: (Serves 2)
- 1 1/2 avocados
- 2∕3 cup coconut water, ideally raw
- 1 tablespoon vanilla (I use Medicine Flowers Vanilla 10 drops)
- 2 tablespoons raw cacao
- 3 pitted dates (can use 5 to make it a little sweeter)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt (Celtic Grey, Himalayan, or Redmond Real Salt)
Directions:
- Blend on high in a blender.
- That’s it—so easy.
- Optional but highly suggested: Sprinkle pomegranates, nuts, raspberries, mint leaves, and other toppings you desire.
- Enjoy your Chocolate Mousse!
If you actually have leftovers, please store the mousse in a closed container in the fridge. This mousse is so delicious, energizing, and filling that it can make for a great, Dr. Daryl-approved breakfast.
Speaking of breakfast, I also totally understand that coffee is an essential ingredient for many people’s morning rituals. This is why I created Acid-Kicking Coffee Alkalizer in heavenly flavors such as hazelnut and salted caramel.
One scoop alkalines your coffee and gives your body MCT and coconut oils that accelerate fat-burning and keep you focused all day long. The other key ingredients, Alpha-GPC, Lion's Mane, and L-Theanine, give your neurocognition a major boost.
