Eggs Were Never the Problem—It Was What You Cooked Them With

For decades, people were told eggs = bad cholesterol.
Eggs were blamed for clogged arteries, rising cholesterol, and heart disease because they contain “cholesterol.”

So we ditched the eggs that our ancestors ate from the chickens wobbling outside their door with sugary cereal, toast (with 15 different ingredients), frozen waffles (don’t even get me started…), and other TOXIC foods from a box.

All of which was quietly destroying our gut health and metabolism, leading to all sorts of health issues. It seems so obvious as I write this, but for most Americans, they thought swapping eggs for “heart-healthy” marketing lies on the front of a box was the right decision.

Here’s the truth: eggs were never the enemy.
The real problem has always been food context. By this I mean:

  • It was the seed oils cooking the eggs. Discover why seed oils = cigarettes
  • It was the processed sausage and biscuits that accompanied the eggs.
  • It was the horrible quality of life that the chickens had. Caged up, never saw the sun, and fed mega-inflammatory GMOs. Uncover the type of eggs that provide optimal health

And science (and common sense) is finally catching up.

Eggs Don’t Raise “Bad” Cholesterol, But Seed Oils Do.

A groundbreaking study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition finally cracked the cholesterol myth wide open.

Researchers asked a simple question: Is it the cholesterol in eggs that raises LDL (low-density lipoprotein), OR is it the saturated and polyunsaturated fats we eat with them?!

The Results Were Clear:

  • LDL cholesterol went UP when saturated fat intake was high
  • LDL cholesterol went DOWN in the group eating two eggs per day, paired with vegetables, and other quality foods, cooked with grassfed butter, ghee, coconut oil, etc.
  • Cholesterol from eggs did not raise LDL.
  • Saturated fat — especially from processed foods and seed oils — did

Eggs don’t break your heart — your cooking oils (and processed foods) do. Click here to learn why seed oils are a heartbreaker.

Why Eggs Actually Support Optimal Health

Cholesterol isn’t dangerous — it’s egg-ssential. (Ok, I had to make one egg pun!)

Your body uses cholesterol to:

  • Build healthier cells
  • Increase cognitive function
  • Boost the immune system
  • Aid in tissue repair
  • Improve good cholesterol HDL
  • Reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts
  • Make you happier and healthier, since they are full of vitamin D. Click here to learn why vitamin D is critical for every member of your family.

The Real Villains: Seed Oils

SEED OILS THAT ARE MORE TOXIC THAN TOBACCO and drive up MASSIVE amounts of inflammation in the body, a major contributor to heart disease, cancer, and even dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Seed oils are: Soybean, sunflower, canola, corn, safflower, etc.

These oils are loaded with omega-6 linoleic acid (LA), a fat your body needs in tiny amounts — but now consumes in massive excess.

Why Seed Oils Are So Damaging:

  • LA oxidizes easily, forming toxic OXLAMs
  • Damages mitochondria (your energy factories)
  • Drives chronic inflammation
  • Disrupts cholesterol metabolism
  • Linked to heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and neurodegeneration

Seed oils are used to cook eggs, and in most of the food that is often consumed with eggs, such as sausages, bacon, breads, etc.

And here’s the kicker: LA has a biological half-life of nearly two years.

That means what you ate last year is still affecting your cells today.

It wasn’t the eggs; it was everything around them. Learn more about seed oils here.

SOLUTION: Replace seed oils with coconut, avocado, or olive oils. Or even grassfed butter or ghee. AND eat nutrient-packed eggs. Look for pasture-raised, organic, or, best of all, raise your own chickens! Click here to unearth what is really going into your eggs, and practical solutions.
